Why a city needs a builder network, not another club
Talent in Pune is abundant and scattered. The missing piece is not another society; it's the connective tissue between them.
By HackWithPune Editorial
Pune has more colleges, companies and engineers than most cities will ever have. What it lacks is not talent. It is visibility between the people who have it.
A student at one campus builds something excellent and nobody outside it ever sees it. A founder across town needs exactly that skill and cannot find it. A company wants to hire on proof of work and is left reading résumés.
A college club cannot fix this. It is bounded by its campus, its academic year and its own priorities. A hackathon organiser cannot fix it either: an event is a moment, and the problem is continuous.
What fixes it is a network that persists: a place where people build together between events, where work is public, and where the next opportunity is a conversation away. That is the case for HackWithPune.
